Phantom Series Ceramic Window Tinting

Rayno Phantom & Phantom II nano carbon ceramic window film — the area's #1 choice for heat rejection, UV protection, and optical clarity.

Serving Toledo, Sylvania, Perrysburg, Maumee, and the greater Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan region, A-Team installs Rayno's Phantom Series and Phantom II nano carbon ceramic window films — the world's first carbon ceramic film developed with a patented formula that combines nano-scaled carbon particles for top-notch color stability with nano-encapsulated ceramic particles for lasting durability and outstanding heat rejection.

The Phantom Series is available in three performance tiers — S5 (Black), S7 (Charcoal), and S9 (Charcoal) — each engineered for specific heat rejection and appearance preferences. Phantom S9 delivers the highest infrared rejection at up to 93%, while S7 reaches up to 81% and S5 up to 72%. All three achieve up to 70% Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER), 99.9% UV block, and less than 1% fading rate. In independent 1,000-hour testing, Phantom films held true color 35–54% better than leading competitors.

Phantom II represents the next generation: Rayno's most advanced nano carbon ceramic film. It blocks up to 97% of infrared rays with enhanced film thickness for improved shatter resistance and color stability. Phantom II also features an antibacterial layer tested to eliminate 99.9% of harmful bacteria including E. coli, keeping your cabin fresh and hygienic. Advanced optical design technology delivers zero-haze clarity for safer driving day and night.

Both Phantom and Phantom II are fully dye-free and metal-free — no interference with GPS, Bluetooth, cellular, toll-pass, or keyless-entry signals. Every film is offered in a full VLT range from 5% to 50% to meet your preferences, privacy requirements, and Ohio regulations. We also offer Rayno Crystal Shield, an optically clear windshield protection film designed to absorb road impact and help mitigate stone chips and stress cracks on factory glass.

Alongside Rayno Phantom, A-Team is an authorized STEK installer, offering STEK's carbon and ceramic automotive films. STEK gives us additional shade, tone, and heat-rejection options to dial in exactly the look and performance you want — and the same brand backs the paint protection film we install, so you can build a complete tint-and-PPF package from manufacturers we know and trust.

What Sets It Apart

Phantom S5 / S7 / S9

Three carbon ceramic tiers — S5 (Black) for classic privacy, S7 (Charcoal) for balanced performance, and S9 (Charcoal) for maximum IR rejection up to 93%. Choose the line that matches your goals.

Phantom II — Next Gen

Rayno's most advanced film: up to 97% IR rejection, enhanced thickness for shatter resistance, and a 99.9% antibacterial layer that eliminates E. coli and other harmful bacteria.

Up to 70% TSER

Total Solar Energy Rejection measures not just heat but also skin-damaging and vision-impairing light. Phantom films improved TSER by up to 60% over competing brands in independent testing.

99.9% UV Block

Blocks virtually all UVA and UVB radiation — protecting your skin, eyes, leather, dashboards, and interior trim from accelerated aging and damage.

Zero-Haze Clarity

Patented nano-particle size control and nano coating prevent light scattering — scoring below 1 on the clarity scale for safe, clear visibility day and night, rain or shine.

<1% Fading Rate

Nano-encapsulated ceramic particles are individually sealed for guaranteed color stability. In 1,000-hour testing, Phantom held true color 35–54% better than leading competitors.

Dye-Free & Metal-Free

Fully non-metallic construction means zero interference with GPS, Bluetooth, cellular, toll-pass, keyless entry, and satellite radio signals.

Lifetime Warranty

Manufacturer lifetime coverage against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination on all Phantom and Phantom II installations.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a tint job take?

Most vehicles are completed within 2–4 hours. Larger SUVs or full-windshield installations may require additional time. We prefer to keep the vehicle for the full session so our team can work with the care and precision the job deserves.

What's the difference between Phantom S5, S7, S9, and Phantom II?

The Phantom Series comes in three tiers: S5 (Black) for classic privacy, S7 (Charcoal) for a warmer neutral tone, and S9 (Charcoal) for maximum heat rejection at up to 93% IR block. All three are built on the same patented nano carbon ceramic formula with 99.9% UV block and less than 1% fading rate. Phantom II is Rayno's next-generation film — it pushes IR rejection to 97%, adds enhanced film thickness for shatter resistance, and includes a 99.9% antibacterial layer tested to eliminate E. coli and other harmful bacteria.

What is TSER and why does it matter?

Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER) measures how much total solar energy — including heat, UV, and vision-damaging light — is blocked by the film. It is a more complete performance metric than IR rejection alone. In independent testing, Rayno Phantom films improved TSER by up to 60% compared to other brands, with the S9 line achieving up to 70% TSER.

When can I roll the windows down?

We recommend allowing 3–5 days for the adhesive to fully bond. In cooler or more humid conditions, curing may take slightly longer. It is normal to notice minor water pockets or a faint haze during this period — both resolve naturally as the film sets.

Will tint mess with my GPS, phone, or Bluetooth?

Not at all. Phantom-series films are entirely non-metallic, so GPS, Bluetooth, cellular, toll-pass, and keyless-entry systems continue to operate without any interference.

Is window tinting legal in Ohio and Michigan?

Regulations vary by state, window position, and vehicle type, and they are subject to periodic updates. Our team stays current on Ohio and Michigan requirements and will guide you toward a shade that meets your local standards. We also recommend confirming any recent changes with your local authorities.

What does the warranty cover?

Every Phantom-series installation is backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty covering bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination. Our workmanship is guaranteed as well — should any concern arise, we will address it promptly.

How do I take care of tinted windows?

Once the film has fully cured — typically 3–5 days — simply clean with a soft cloth and any ammonia-free glass cleaner. No specialty products are required.

What is Crystal Shield windshield protection film?

Crystal Shield is Rayno's optically clear windshield protection film. It is applied directly to the exterior surface of your windshield to absorb road impact and help reduce the likelihood of stone chips and stress cracks from normal driving conditions. It does not replace damaged glass and is not a guaranteed barrier against all impacts — its purpose is to add a sacrificial layer of protection to the windshield's most exposed surface. Availability and fit depend on the vehicle, so we confirm compatibility during your appointment.

How long does ceramic window tint last?

High-quality ceramic window tint like Rayno Phantom Series is backed by a lifetime warranty when professionally installed. The nano-ceramic construction resists fading, bubbling, and delamination far longer than dyed or metallic films.

Does window tint reduce heat in winter?

Yes. Ceramic tint helps regulate interior temperature by reducing glare and minimizing heat loss during colder months. In Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan winters, this means a more comfortable cabin and less strain on your climate system.

Will window tint interfere with electronics?

No. Ceramic films like the Phantom Series do not contain metal and will not interfere with GPS, cell signals, Bluetooth, toll passes, or satellite radio — a common concern for Toledo-area drivers.

Do you install any tint brands besides Rayno?

Yes. In addition to Rayno Phantom, A-Team is an authorized STEK installer, so we also offer STEK carbon and ceramic automotive films. That gives you more shade, tone, and heat-rejection options, and lets us pair your tint with STEK paint protection film for a complete package. We'll recommend the right film for your vehicle, budget, and look during your consultation.
