Frequently Asked Questions

Should I wash my car before a wrap?

A simple rinse or hand wash is helpful but not required. If you do wash, avoid spray waxes, ceramic toppers, and tire shine — these leave residue that can interfere with adhesion. If you can't wash it beforehand, no problem — we'll prep the surface properly before installation.

Do I need to remove personal items?

Yes. Please remove personal items from doors, consoles, cup holders, door pockets, cargo areas, and the trunk. This helps us access panels without delays and protects your belongings during the installation process.

Can you wrap over damaged paint?

Vinyl wrap adheres best to clean, solid paint. Peeling clear coat, poor repaints, or heavily oxidized surfaces may affect adhesion and the final result. Deep scratches and rock chips will telegraph through the film — wrap is not a substitute for bodywork.

Do you remove badges/emblems?

We can remove most aftermarket badges and emblems as part of the installation process. If you have specific badges you'd like removed or kept, let us know during check-in so we can plan accordingly.

Will wrap cover dents or scratches?

Vinyl wrap conforms tightly to the surface, which means dents, deep scratches, and body imperfections will still be visible through the film. For the best results, address any bodywork before your wrap appointment.

Can I keep my roof rack on?

If we're wrapping the roof, crossbars and roof racks need to be removed before installation so we can wrap the full panel cleanly. If the roof isn't being wrapped, they can stay on. Let us know your setup when scheduling.

What should I avoid right before drop-off?

Avoid applying spray wax, ceramic booster sprays, tire shine, or any coating products to the vehicle in the days before drop-off. These leave residue on the paint surface that can interfere with vinyl adhesion and require extra prep time.
